The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Carolynn McMillan

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.  I relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina February 14, 2021, after serving 27 years in the New York City Police Department and retiring as a Sergeant Special Assignment.  I also served three years in the United States Army and was stationed in Heilbronn, Germany.  I am married to James McMillan (aka Mack) and we share four children together, three sons and one daughter aged 24 - 34.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
PlanNet Marketing has been a blessing in our lives. I was never taught wealth building principles.  I truly was raised in a home of go to school, get a good education so you can get a secure job that would take care of yourself. I accomplished all that and retired very comfortably. BUT, since starting our business with PlanNet Marketing, I’ve learned there is Another Level.  Why settle for Good when Great is available? Reading was another major growth for me. I haven’t read a book since age 16 and they were not books on self-development. Donald Goines was my favorite author. I have read 16 books in my first year in this business and I will continue to read and grow.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My motivation and drive is I want to be the first millionaire in our family.  I want the deeds to our homes.  As JP Watkins says, “We didn’t come from money, but money will come from us."

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Mr. Bradley is my role model, as I never had someone pour into me how to secure a legacy for my family.  He is the first black millionaire I ever met personally and he truly cares about pulling everyone up with him.  He models it for us.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Three words that best describe me are Loyal, Passionate and Very Competitive.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
My advice would be READ!!  STAY FOCUSED!!, find a great coach and NEVER QUIT!!

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now my life will be debt free and filled with all of our DREAMS: houses, cars, boats, and stacks of money! Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Bradley, for an amazing opportunity.
