The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Nicole Fisher

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in a small midwestern town in Kansas, around 350 people. I currently reside with my husband and fur baby in Hays, KS!  Hobbies include traveling, working out/playing sports such as pickle ball, watching our sports teams, and shopping!

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Since joining PlanNet Marketing, I’ve experienced incredible growth both personally and professionally. What began as a side opportunity has transformed into a true passion and full-time thriving business. I’ve learned how to market myself effectively, and earned bonuses and recognition that once felt out of reach. Personally, I’ve stepped far outside my comfort zone—gaining confidence, developing leadership skills, and growing into someone who takes action with purpose. Through mentorship and training, I’ve strengthened my mindset and learned how to manage my time like a true entrepreneur. I’ve built genuine connections with inspiring, like-minded people and have had the privilege of helping others create unforgettable vacations and even start their own businesses. This journey has not only impacted my life, but allowed me to show my family what’s truly possible when you say yes to opportunity.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My goals in life are what drive me. I hope to someday fully retire from nursing and use this business as my retirement plan.  I also want to retire my husband and just enjoy life traveling the world. I am motivated by leaders within the company who I continuously watch and who inspire me.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
I consider Patrick Mahomes an amazing role model who works hard day in and day out and shows that with this work ethic, anything is possible. He’s respected not just for talent, but for his discipline, focus, and humility. Mahomes consistently credits his teammates and coaches, showing maturity and leadership beyond his years.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Faith-driven, hardworking, and competitive.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
Don’t wait for the “perfect time”—it doesn’t exist. Start before you feel ready, trust your instincts, and take that first step toward what you truly want. You’ll never grow if you stay where it’s comfortable. Surround yourself with people who uplift you, believe in something bigger than your fears, and remember: success is built in the small, consistent steps no one sees. You don’t have to be the best when you start—you just have to be willing to start.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
I hope to be a Four-Star Director or beyond, retired from nursing, and traveling the world with my family!
