Businesses are about making MONEY. Our business allows each of you to earn money from home or on the go. Everyone wants to know about the moo-lah - tell me the amount, share the details, SHOW ME THE MONEY.

You know all the sayings, "Money can't buy happiness," "Money can't buy friends," and "Money isn't everything." Those may be true, but honestly, we all need money. It's what makes the world go round. So, let's talk about it.

At PlanNet Marketing, we have a compensation plan designed to allow our Reps to supplement their income and supplement their lifestyle. Reps can earn part-time money, or big-time money. It's all about how much time and effort each person is willing and able to put into their business!

When you're out there telling the world about our amazing at-home business opportunity, people will want to know how they will earn, how much they will earn, when they will earn, will they earn as a Rep, will they earn as an ITA...it's ALL about the money.

Here's the 411 on the earnings.

What You Can and Cannot Say About Earnings:

DON'T share specific amounts or screenshots. Using a specific amount or an image of a check you (or someone else) earned is seen as a "guarantee" of income - regardless of what words you put with it. If you ask, "Do you want to earn an extra $500 a month" and your prospect only earns $50 that first month - they will feel you lied. The FTC tends to agree with them - don't promise amounts.


DO share our compensation plan. Sharing the PlanNet Marketing Compensation plan from our website or our corporate presentation are both great ways to show a prospect HOW they can earn and how MUCH they can earn without making any promises or guarantees about their earnings.

DON'T talk about personal savings or perks. When selling the ITA you may be tempted to share how much money a new travel agent could save booking travel for themselves. Please DO NOT do this. Reps should never talk about how an ITA purchase could SAVE money, Reps should always highlight EARNING money.

DO talk about earning income by booking. We sell a travel BUSINESS. Tell your prospect about how they can earn income just by booking a trip for someone who will be traveling anyway! Travel bookings already have commissions built in – ask why they wouldn’t want to earn that money if they will be booking that annual reunion cruise anyway!


DON'T forget an Income Disclaimer! If you want to talk about Rep earnings or highlight a team member’s rank and achievements in dollar amounts, please make sure you add a little disclaimer in your post that says something like, “Career Level Earnings are not typical, nor guaranteed. It takes a LOT of hard work and effort to earn money in this business.“ Then…

DO include a link to our Income Disclosure Statement. Don’t forget, after your Income Disclaimer, please include a link to our Income Disclosure Statement. It gives ALL the facts about earnings at every level in PlanNet Marketing, from Bronze Builder to Six Star Director – the highs, lows and in betweens are all there. If you are speaking to someone about joining our business – please point them to the IDS at some point BEFORE they enroll as a Rep. You don’t have to comment on it, you don’t have to be able to answer questions about it (I can do that!), you just need to share it.
