Congratulations to Alayna Kaba for achieving One-Star Director! Alayna tells us, "I was born and raised in Golden Valley, Minnesota. Today, I live in Jordan, Minnesota, a small rural community about 40 minutes southwest of Minneapolis, with my amazing husband, Laye, and our two young children.
"Outside of business, I love spending time with my family and being outdoors. Whether it’s a weekend getaway, a day at the lake, hiking, camping, or taking the kids to the park, that’s where you’ll usually find us. Minnesota summers are my favorite, especially spending time up north enjoying the lakes. One of our long-term dreams is to own a lake home someday.
"Travel has always been a passion of mine. While my travels have been relatively limited so far, I’ve explored Florida, the Pacific Northwest, and Jamaica, where I’ve visited sixteen times. What excites me most is that this business is allowing me to dream bigger and experience destinations I’ve always wanted to see. The Azores, Italy, and Greece are all high on my bucket list, and I look forward to showing my children the world.
"When it comes to success with PlanNet Marketing, I believe it starts with having a vision and refusing to get in your own way. From the beginning, I knew exactly where I wanted this opportunity to take me. I made a commitment to stay consistent, keep learning, and improve 1% every day. That mindset helped me achieve Director in 53 weeks.
"One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that perseverance matters more than perfection. You don’t need to know everything when you start. You simply need to be willing to learn, take action, and continue refining your skills. I focus heavily on personal development, leadership, and becoming better at my craft every day.
"For those building their business, my advice is simple: Don’t limit yourself to your immediate circle. If your friends and family aren’t interested yet, that’s okay. The internet is a very big place. Out of my current team of 149 agents, I personally knew only two of them before they joined my organization. There are countless people looking for an opportunity, and consistency is what helps you find them.
"I take my responsibility as a leader very seriously. My goal is not only to create success for myself, but to show others what is possible when they stay committed to the process. I truly believe that if I can do this, anyone can.
"One fun fact about me is that my husband is from Guinea, West Africa. We actually own a beautiful new house there, even though I have never visited. He arrived in America on my birthday in 2009, and we met in 2016 on 10/10. This October, we’ll celebrate ten years together, and I think a trip to Greece would be the perfect way to celebrate."
