Congratulations to Cheryl Flounders for Achieving One-Star Director!

Meet Cheryl!

Congratulations to Cheryl Flounders for achieving One-Star Director! Cheryl is from Warwickshire, UK. She tells us, "First and foremost, I’m a mum to two amazing little humans who are at the heart of everything I do. I’m passionate about creating a life where I don’t have to choose between being present for them and building something of my own. I love travel, chasing new experiences, and saying yes to adventure – whether that’s hopping on a plane or stepping outside my comfort zone in business.

"I’ve always been drawn to anything entrepreneurial and anything that helps you grow as a person. I love learning something new, setting bold goals, or building something from scratch, I get such a buzz from bettering myself and encouraging others to do the same. I believe in showing my kids what’s possible – and that’s what drives me every single day.

"I’ve always loved exploring new places, whether it’s a spontaneous UK staycation or a long-haul family holiday. Since joining this business, we’ve travelled more and travelled better. One of my favourite experiences was taking my two children, aged 4 and 6 at the time, to Thailand to retrace the steps of a backpacking trip I did in my twenties. It was such a full-circle moment – showing them the world through my eyes and creating new memories together in a place that shaped me.

"I think success comes from keeping it simple and real. I didn’t start with big goals – I just shared what I was doing and how it was helping our family. Because I genuinely love what this business has given me, talking about it feels natural. My background is in PR and marketing, so promoting something I truly believe in felt like second nature.

"But more than anything, I stay consistent and resilient. I’m not afraid to hear 'no' – I’ve learned to see it as part of the process, not a personal rejection. I took messy action from the start, leaned into the excitement, and just kept going. For me, it’s also about building a strong team culture – supporting my team like I would my closest friends, and celebrating every single win along the way.

"Honestly, I said yes before I felt fully ready – and then I showed up with heart. I took action, stayed consistent, and led from the front. I focused on building a community, not just a business. I shared my journey openly, connected with people, and kept my goals front and centre. I also made it a priority to help others believe in themselves – because when your team wins, you win too.

"Fun fact: I’m a Guinness World Record holder! It was part of a PR stunt for a new quiz show launch with then comedian Justin Lee Collins – we gathered in Covent Garden, London, and set the record for the most people to simultaneously flip a coin. Totally random, but such a fun memory from my PR days!"
