Congratulations to Karen Dwire for achieving One-Star Director! She tells us, "I am from Grand Junction, Colorado on the Western Slope, which is where I am based once again since 2020. I lived in six different states and three different countries between the time I graduated high school and the time I returned in 2020. My interests: well, of course, I like to travel! I love health and wellness, walking through new places, connecting with others, and of course anything related to my dog!
"Travel experiences: I have been to 46 states and 43 countries. I have had the extreme honor of working with the US Army in Italy and have lived in Hawaii, Colorado, California, Louisiana, Rhode Island, and Nebraska. I love road trips, being at the beach, and anything Europe!
"Travel has been a part of my life and is my true passion. I live this every day in a state of flow that attracts likeminded people. My focus is on other mid-career healthcare professionals who are burned out or looking for a second income that is fun and allows them to travel more. I tapped into the pain points of other women working in healthcare and showed them how fun life could be and that they could still change lives and help people by combining their career with travel.
"Some fun facts about me are that I have a service dog, I live with my dad, and I often travel solo so I can meet new people and have immersive experiences."
