PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Marissa Thompson to the 20/20 Club! Marissa tells us, "I’m just an island girl from Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas who has always had big dreams for myself and my family. Growing up, I always knew I wanted more out of life: more freedom, more experiences, and the ability to create opportunities not only for myself, but for others around me as well.
"I’m a wife, mom, entrepreneur, content creator, and the owner of an online handmade hair care brand. I enjoy beauty, natural hair care, budgeting, business, travel, cooking, exploring new places, and new adventures. I love creating content that inspires people to grow in confidence, income, and lifestyle.
"Travel has become something I truly enjoy because it allows me to experience different cultures, create memories with family, and step outside of my comfort zone. Some of my favorite moments have come from simply saying yes to opportunities that once scared me.
"One of the biggest reasons I’ve been able to achieve success with PlanNet Marketing so quickly is consistency and staying connected to people. I focus on building genuine relationships, sharing my real journey online, and continuing to show up even when I don’t feel like it. I learned from a podcast that if you want to be successful, you should say yes to everything your coaches ask of you, so that’s exactly what I did. Afraid and all, I kept saying yes.
"A tip I would give to others is to stay visible, stay coachable, and trust the process even when you don’t see immediate results. I also believe that if you don’t know something, don’t be afraid. Resources are everywhere. Take the time to learn, read, ask questions, and grow. Another lesson my coaches always say is to never be afraid to copy the cat that’s already being successful. Success leaves clues, and I believe learning from people already getting results can help you grow faster.
"One fun fact about me is that I’m actually an introvert and really don’t like talking to people lol, which surprises many people when they see me building online and connecting with others. I’ve learned that success isn’t about being fearless, it’s about being willing to grow anyway.
"I truly believe ordinary people can create extraordinary lives when they stay consistent, stay teachable, and believe bigger for themselves."
