PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Monaca Gilmore to the 20/20 Club! Monaca tells us, "I am a retired U.S. Army Veteran from Matoaca, Virginia, now residing in Knightdale, North Carolina. I served as an 88M Transportation Instructor and deployed to Iraq from 2005–2006 as a 3rd Country National Escort and gunner. During my deployment, I was injured by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), resulting in a traumatic brain injury, blindness, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other health challenges.
"Despite these obstacles, I have dedicated my life to continued service by advocating for veterans and their families nationwide. I am a former District 3 Director, Women’s Veteran Group Chairman, and have served as a BVA ambassador for Project Gemini Blind Veterans in the United Kingdom. I remain actively involved in several Veteran Service Organizations.
"A passionate motivational speaker and entrepreneur, I am the owner of an athletic apparel company that serves all athletes, including those with physical limitations. I enjoy traveling the world and participating in adaptive sports such as hiking, kayaking, skiing, and tandem cycling. Notably, I became the first female blinded veteran to lead an all-blinded female veteran team hiking a portion of the North Georgia Appalachian Trail, culminating with a rappel at Ranger School.
"I hold a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and use my expertise to advocate for the health and well-being of veterans and their communities. Through PlanNet Marketing, I provide others with a pathway to financial freedom, stability, and legacy building—all while having fun along the way."
