Congratulations to Ola Abbas for Achieving One-Star Director!

Meet Ola!

PlanNet Marketing congratulates Ola Abbas for achieving One-Star Director! Ola tells us, "I was born and raised in Iraq; following the war, I immigrated to Lebanon, then Dubai, and finally settled in Manchester, UK. I'm a personal development and a people development junkie; I always look to better myself and help others elevate to the next level. I love traveling, I'm super passionate about exploring new places, cultures and certainly passionate about trying food from all around the world!

"I've travelled to over 80 cities and regions in 36 countries so far. I've had so many funny, scary and special experiences while traveling. The one that stands out to me the most is meeting my better half in Gran Canaria. We dated our way around the world, got engaged in Paris and our destination beach wedding is in Antalya this summer.

"I attribute my success in business to the vision I hold of the future, of what's possible to achieve with this opportunity which is to change my life to the best and help do the same for others. I am consistent with the business-building activities, and I am consistently developing my skill. I started my business with no business skills, near to no network in a foreign country where I had no family, very few friends, and also during a pandemic! But I understood that taking daily action and developing myself regardless of who’s around me, who supports me, and what’s happening in the world will get me the results I aspired to.

"I worked a full-time job as a consultant in critical care and acute medicine in the NHS. The job was full-on especially during the pandemic, but I didn't let that hold me back. I kept pushing and doing what I could with the time I had. Remembering why I started, keeping focused and not getting distracted by shiny objects are key to success and that's what I'd say to others pursuing the stars.

"It doesn’t matter where you are from, who you are, what experiences you’ve had in the past, or what people think you can and can’t do. If you are hungry, willing, and coachable then you can achieve any level of success you desire.

"A little fun fact about me – I hiked the Camino de Santiago in Spain walking 117 km in seven days. I also make excellent cakes and won several local baking competitions."
