"By day, I serve as an Assistant Principal for grades 7–12. I absolutely love my role as an AP because it gives me the opportunity to pour into young people, support families, and make an impact that extends far beyond the classroom. Education and leadership are both very important to me, and there is nothing more rewarding than watching scholars grow, overcome challenges, and begin to see what is possible for their lives.
"In addition to my role in education, I was selected as a member of the 2026 Class of Survivors through the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women platform. As a heart attack and emergency open-heart surgery survivor, this is a huge honor for me. Having the opportunity to represent women and use my story to advocate, educate, and bring awareness to the severity of heart disease is something I do not take lightly.
"I was introduced to this amazing business opportunity a few years ago and got involved, but if I’m being truthful, I sat on the business because I had so much going on in life. If I could do anything differently, I would have started building my organization right away.
