Meet New 20/20 Club Member Adisa Aiyetoro!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Adisa J. “AJ” Aiyetoro to the 20/20 Club! He tells us, "My journey from the vibrant cultural beginning of Jamaica to the bustling streets of New York in 1989 is a tale of determination and growth. Anchored in Chester, Virginia, my lifelong passions for writing, music, sports, traveling, technology, and the cornerstone of my existence, family, resonate with my profound experiences.

Travel experiences: It was 1989 when I first set foot on American soil to chase the American dream and create a global footprint after high school completion. Some prominent places that I have traveled to and experienced the cultures include the Polynesian Islands, Italy, France, Germany, Mexico, Alaska, Africa, various regions within the Middle East, and most of the continental United States. Essentially, I enjoy returning to the Caribbean and my motherland, Jamaica. My time in the military fortified my love for travel and allowed me to embrace diverse cultures, from the serene Polynesian Islands to the historic landscapes of Europe and beyond. I fondly recount my first taste of authentic Italian cuisine in Rome, an experience that sparked my lifelong love for culinary adventures.

Achieving success: As a beacon of success at PlanNet Marketing, I attribute my achievements to my unyielding 'why' – a deep-rooted desire to aid others in realizing their potential. My odyssey began post-high and demanded patience, hard work, and optimism, the pillars upon which I built my career. I believe that embracing realistic expectations is the cornerstone of sustainable success, a philosophy I live by and encourage in others. One of my defining moments was when I organized a community soccer match in Germany for local and military children. It was more than just a game; it was about bridging cultural gaps and building lifelong friendships. My philanthropic and military service tenure, particularly the leadership roles in challenging combat situations, was a testament to my ability to guide diverse teams under pressure – a quality I seamlessly transferred to my business practices.

Success Tips: Success at PlanNet Marketing, like any other relationship marketing or direct sales domain, requires a combination of skills, strategies, and mindset. Some essential tips and techniques to help business partners succeed include understanding the products and business model – the big picture, setting clear goals – the S.M.A.R.T. way, building strong networks, applying practical communication skills, and using social media wisely. My mantra for success is best illustrated through my approach to mentorship. Combining my knowledge of PlanNet's business model with strategic goal setting, I developed a new business partner’s guide to help them transition into their entrepreneurial journey. It was about showing them the power of a clear vision and a solid plan. It is essential to remain consistent and persistent and always seek personal development, mentorship, and training – the essence of being coachable. A necessary element of success in this business domain requires preparedness and commitment, especially when faced with 'Rejections and Skepticism.' Network marketing is a people-to-people business that requires building trust, good customer service, compliance, ethical practices, time management, and staying informed. In sharing my insights on success with others, I emphasize the importance of a holistic strategy. I stress the importance of understanding the finer details of the business, setting achievable goals, and cultivating a strong network – skills I have honed throughout my illustrious career. These tips helped me succeed quickly and will help others do the same.
