Meet New 20/20 Club Member Clare Jackson!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Clare Jackson to the 20/20 Club! Clare is originally from London, and now lives in Kent, UK. She tells us, "I am a 42 year old mother to three boys (ages 4, 12 and 23!) whom I share with my amazing husband. For 20+ years I have been within the media and marketing industry working on print publications, online magazines and websites, as well as dabbling in PR – this creative side to me is also a passion, and I love to spend time designing, writing and sharing my knowledge and skills with others to help them with their own businesses.

"Travel is obviously one of my biggest passions, and showing my boys as much of the world as possible is one of my dreams. As a family we love Disney, and in the past 18 months we have visited Paris, Orlando and sailed the English Channel on the Disney Magic Cruiseline – our first cruise experience. Whilst living in Europe I got to visit lots of new places, soaking up the culture and the history along the way. As a family we also love the USA. It feels like home – even doing a mammoth west coast self-drive tour for our honeymoon. It is by far one of my favourite places, and I can’t wait to be back in LA and Vegas in March this year – as well as visiting Mickey in Anaheim, I will be catching up with one of my very special PlanNet friends, too! I always thought that I was just a Disney, USA and Europe kind of girl, who travelled only by air and land. But since finding this business, I’ve loved learning more about other ways to travel, such as by sea and rail...the world really is full of opportunity and discovery.

"PlanNet Marketing been an up and down journey for me. I battle some tricky health issues, which in turn has an effect on my confidence and self-belief. I have a busy life with three boys, a husband and a full-time corporate job. Learning to manage my time effectively has been a game changer. Not being too hard on yourself if you miss a task, and taking one day at a time is also important.

"I’ve always known this business will change my life. The vision, the community, and the values are game-changing. But, it was the Breakthrough Convention that had the most impact to date on me. I always plug in, I always attend events I am qualified to attend, I give value where I can, and assist the leadership team wherever possible – but this event showed me that the one thing I wasn’t doing was really committing to me.

"Consistency is key. Doing the work daily is essential. Self-development is non-negotiable. Perfect these three things, and you will not only see success yourself,  but you will inspire others to follow in your footsteps.

"Three years ago I was a shy, unconfident, shadow of my former self. I had completely lost who I was, and was utterly depressed with what my future looked like. Now I can present in front of total strangers, share value and skills with my peers confidently, have built connections that I value, and lifelong friendships with some of the most amazing and inspirational women (and men) I’ve ever come across. This business has not just begun to change my life in ways I never thought possible, it has quite literally brought me back to life.

"One of my favourite things about this business is having access to so many amazing mentors and people to look up to and reach out to for support – those who have the evidence, and who pour into others whether financially connected or not. I’ve learnt from them, made notes and taken action – it’s important not to have a book full of notes and a mind full of regrets because you didn’t apply what you learnt.

"Since convention I have spent the last few months applying the knowledge, setting achievable IPAs for my schedule and remaining consistent. 40/40 was a huge catalyst and the daily teachings during IMV and other calls are invaluable.

"A fun fact about me is that while living in Germany for five years, I got to experience many things – from important historical sites, to theme parks, castles and Christmas markets...and even got to interview the Harlem Globetrotters!"
