Meet New 20/20 Club Member Huma Zubair!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Huma Zubair to the 20/20 Club! Huma is from London in the U.K. She tells us, "I love helping families engage in more impactful travel and love showing them how I do it. I'm also a massive foodie.

"Since being a part of PlanNet, I have travelled to Egypt to show my daughters the pyramids as well riding a horse in the ocean (as requested by my youngest daughter); Morocco for a beach family break; Copenhagen for a luxurious anniversary break in the most stunning hotel; the Maldives for our 10-year anniversary to live that water villa with pool and slide life over the Christmas holidays (we took the kids with us and seeing Santa arrive on a jet ski was amazing!); Scotland for an extended family hot tub break; Toronto and Niagara to help my mum tick off her bucket list with the extended family; and Abu Dhabi with the family to have breakfast with giraffes. Now I am looking forward to Malta and Jamaica next.

"My travel decisions are inspired by my family and friends. I like to help complete their travel goals as it’s so rewarding to see their faces when we do it together through this business. This business has enabled me to travel more luxuriously than before. I’m ever so grateful for the life this business has given me.

"My main tip would be to show up consistently as a leader. What are you learning? Who are you training? What value can you bring as a leader on mindset, on goals, on mental health as well as travel? Showcase the amazing products we have access to, praise the suppliers we work with and never stop learning, adapting, and evaluating your daily habits. I also learnt the art of using Instagram and though @aworldtosense hasn’t got a huge following, I have built genuine connections and these have led to fantastic returning clients and attracted many business partners. It does help to put some work into your social media platforms.

"I wouldn’t say I achieved my success quickly. I began this business whilst in a hospital bed after a spinal surgery. At that moment, I knew it was time I worked hard for me instead of breaking my back for other people, quite literally in my case. In my mind, I wanted to grow organically with people I believe I can work well with and I wanted to prove the product works. I spent the majority of 2022 in the top 30 selling travel agents in the U.K. This helped massively as I really do love our product and thoroughly enjoy networking, because it’s with likeminded people who share the same interests and values as me. These people are like family to me now and I work hard for them as well as because of them.

"A fun fact about me is that I once performed a ‘rap’ for the Mayor of London during a press conference. I had my five minutes of fame on radio and news channels and that is the last time anyone heard me rap! 😆 Point being, I’m not afraid of getting out of my comfort zone or what people think of me. Being confident about what you do is your super power – this attracts both your clients and potential business partners."
