The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: April Sonnenberg

1.‌ ‌Where‌ ‌were‌ ‌you‌ ‌born‌ ‌and‌ ‌raised;‌ ‌current‌ ‌city;‌ ‌family;‌ ‌hobbies;‌ ‌past‌ ‌business‌ ‌highlights.‌ ‌
Hi everyone, my name is April Sonnenberg and I am a One-Star Director with PlanNet Marketing, working towards Two-Star!! A little bit about me: I was born in Defiance, Ohio and grew up in the tiny village of Holgate, Ohio and graduated in 1985. Then in 1987, I fell in love with and married my amazing husband, Joe! We will be married 35 years this November. We are blessed with three beautiful daughters and seven amazing grandchildren! I am a former school bus driver/cpt in ICU/Tupperware consultant and activities coordinator for a senior center.

2.‌ ‌How‌ ‌have‌ ‌you‌ ‌grown‌ ‌or‌ ‌personally‌ ‌developed‌ ‌since‌ ‌joining‌ ‌PlanNet?‌ ‌
I am such a people person and being able to help others achieve their goals, adding value to their lives and watching them grow truly blesses my soul.

3.‌ ‌What‌ ‌drives‌ ‌you;‌ ‌what‌ ‌motivates‌ ‌you?‌
I have been with the company five years now and it has totally changed our lives!!  I can honestly say that being a part of PlanNet has taught me that I can achieve what I thought was unattainable, and support and leadership is where we rise or fall.

4.‌ ‌Who‌ ‌would‌ ‌you‌ ‌consider‌ ‌a‌ ‌role‌ ‌model‌ ‌and‌ ‌why?‌ ‌
I am so thankful for so many amazing people in our business, but I have to say that Cindy Bruggeman has been my lifeline!!  She had so much confidence in me and saw things in me that I totally doubted about myself. Her leadership and support, late night coaching and trust have helped me develop skills and a mindset to believe in me!

5.‌ ‌The‌ ‌three‌ ‌words‌ ‌that‌ ‌describe‌ ‌me‌ ‌best‌ ‌are:‌ ‌
I am asked three words to describe me; however, I feel the people who know me best are where the truth lives. So I am described as Compassionate, Faithful, and Authentic.

6.‌  ‌If‌ ‌you‌ ‌had‌ ‌some‌ ‌sound‌ ‌advice‌ ‌to‌ ‌give‌ ‌to‌ ‌anyone‌ ‌what‌ ‌would‌ ‌it‌ ‌be?‌ ‌
My advice to all of you is that you are responsible for your outcome. We have the tools, the leaders, the plan. You are the driving force behind that wheel and gas pedal. You have to be committed to your goals and dreams and know when to accelerate and turn. We have the best companies and product!!  It's what we do with that ... that will determine your future.

7.‌ ‌What ‌does‌ ‌your‌ ‌life‌ ‌look‌ ‌like‌ ‌five‌ ‌years‌ ‌from‌ ‌now?‌ ‌
My five-year goal is Five-Star Director. We WILL be debt free and will be retiring my husband, paying for our seven grandchildren's college education! I am so thankful the Lord put this business in my path and our future! God Bless you all!
