The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Dominique Bogard

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born in Memphis, Tennessee. I was raised on the south side of Chicago, IL, where my parents and all of my siblings still reside. I currently live on the outskirts of Chicago in Mount Prospect, IL. I'm a wife and a mother of two beautiful daughters who are 8 and 2 years old. After high school, I became a Medical Assistant at the age of 21 and I worked in the medical field for over eight years. Currently I'm a stay-at-home mom, I work my business full-time and I also homeschool my oldest daughter.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I joined PlanNet Marketing on July 31 of 2020. I can truly say that my personal development has grown tremendously since then. I completely understand the importance of leadership and I fully understand that the title also comes with a huge responsibility. Not only have I embraced the role as a leader but I've learned that leadership also requires accountability and service to others because the vision is so much bigger than me.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Humble beginnings and being a mother is what drives me. Being raised on the south side of Chicago wasn't easy, but my parents refused to allow me or my siblings to be a product of our environment. Giving my children a good life and getting my parents out of the city of Chicago is what motivates me every single day.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
I've been blessed to have my parents, great leadership and awesome mentors. Therefore, I have many people that I would consider to be a role model because so many of them have played a huge role in my life, career and the person I am today.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Passionate, Motivated and Hungry!!!

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
If I could give some sound advice to anyone, it would be: If you're looking for a vehicle that can free your family, "this is it." So take your business seriously and treat your business like a business so that one day it could pay you like one. Never let anyone discourage or hinder your success. Keep going because if you quit, you'll end up right back where you started.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
I'm grateful for where I'm at but five years from now, I plan to be in a much higher position here at PlanNet Marketing with multiple stars behind my name!!!
