The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Florine Hall-Green

1. Personal: Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights....
I was born in Hanford, CA and currently reside in Visalia, CA. I'm a married to an amazing man and am I mother of five. We own a Jamaican food business and I've been hosting wine tasting trips since 2015, which I totally enjoy, which is why it made sense to add travel as my business. For fun, I spend time with my babies – the ones who are close by. I have girls' night with my besties, date day or night with my husband and my sister, Lisa.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I've definitely grown since joining PlanNet Marketing. I've learned to listen, which was always my failure. Coming from corporate America, I would always feel I had the answers or knew how to guide through what I was doing. That wasn't and isnt the case at all. I needed to be an eager student so i can hear and learn about my future from people who are doing it and are at levels I'm striving to get to.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
What drives me are my kids, wanting to give them more, the things I never had or dreamed were possible of having. I watched my mother work three jobs, and although we didnt know it then, because she made sure we had food, we had family time on her days off; we lived rich but we were extremely poor. She raised us with such flair that we didnt know that. What motivates me are a few things...my husband, who is always my cheerleader and always finding the positive from every situation, and my coaches, who never give up on me, from not knowing me from a can of paint to now seeing me for who I am and my potential. They help to continue being those ROCKS I need.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
I would say my role model is my oldest sister, Lisa. She would be there to look after my little sister and me when my mother worked the three jobs. Helping with our dressing, our hair, food, homework, to even pulling out a shoe or flyswatter to help discipline 🤣🤣. She's always looked out for us and being a mother of three, her children ranging from 32 to 10, she still shows tremendous leadership and has a very strong faith about everything.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Driven, passionate and funny.

6.  If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
I'd have to say keep your head down and stay the course you set out for yourself. If you deviate from that goal, you will definitely feel it. Stop being afraid as there is so much more to life than what you see. Take your place and stand out!!!

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
My life five years from now finally has a great view. We will be household names for sure, our financial status will continue to have several commas in it and I see myself with my family making a huge statement in the community with many things. Living life own my own terms, and touching so many people with food, travel and wine.
