The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Hollie Hogan

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I’m 23 and based in Leicestershire, in the Midlands. I was born in Northamptonshire and spent part of my childhood in Germany before returning to the UK in 2010. I’m now a full-time network marketer, having built my business alongside a Mental Health Nursing degree, full-time NHS night shifts as a Nursing Assistant, and a part-time retail job. PlanNet Marketing gave me the opportunity to graduate from university with a full-time online income, allowing me to say goodbye to nursing before my career had even begun.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
My biggest transformation has been my confidence. I’ve gone from being a very introverted girl who struggled to speak up and constantly questioned herself to someone who is confident in who she is and what she’s capable of. PlanNet has completely shifted my mindset. It has taught me to challenge myself, embrace discomfort and stop putting limits on what I can achieve. I’ve learnt that the biggest growth happens outside your comfort zone, and that’s where I’ve discovered a completely different version of myself.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
What drives me is the desire for more. I’ve never wanted to settle for the traditional path of university, a career, a mortgage, children and settling down simply because that’s what’s expected. I wanted to challenge that idea and prove to myself that there’s more to life. I want to do more, see more, experience more and create a life on my own terms.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My dad has always been my biggest role model. He’s taught me that life is too short to live by someone else’s expectations and has always encouraged me to create a life on my own terms. No matter what path I’ve chosen, I’ve always had his unwavering support, and knowing I have someone in my corner who believes in me has given me the confidence to dream bigger, take risks and go after a life that genuinely excites me.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Visionary. Ambitious. Unstoppable.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
Be coachable and trust the process. Your mentor has the experience and the blueprint, but ultimately, you have to be willing to listen, learn and do the work. This business doesn’t discriminate. Anyone can be successful if they’re prepared to follow the blueprint, stay consistent and put the work in.

7.  What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I see myself as one of the biggest Gen Z leaders within the PlanNet Marketing organisation, helping to inspire and develop the next generation of Gen Z entrepreneurs. I want to show other young people that they don’t have to follow the traditional path and that there are different ways to build a successful life. I see myself training and speaking on stage to Gen Zs at our national and international conventions, sharing my experience and helping others see what’s possible for them.
