The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Ivanna Ponce

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in a Western part of Ukraine, in a small city called Ternopil. Eleven years ago after I finished my University, I traveled to the U.S. for my internship program, and I ended up staying. Currently I reside with my family in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I am married to an amazing husband and together we have two little girls - 5 and 6 years old. Before becoming a mother, I spent 10 years working in hospitality. I also have experience owning several businesses.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
It has already been a little over three years since I made a decision to join PlanNet Marketing – and it honestly was one of the best decisions in my life! I always say that our business is an opportunity to grow personally with a check attached to it! So many things changed in me personally – from my confidence level and belief in myself, to my management and communication skills. I am constantly learning how to be a better leader, along with creating successful leaders as well.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My family is a huge motivation for me. I want to be a role model for my girls and show them that every woman is capable of creating the life of their dreams. The opportunity to have time freedom also motivates. Because my husband has a corporate job, I had to figure out how we could supplement my husband's income to obtain time for the whole family to travel and show the beauty of this world to our kids. I believe that life is too short to spend it working 9-5! PlanNet Marketing gave me a vision and all the tools to make it happen.

My other huge motivation is people. Being able to help and impact so many people is what's driving me to never stop working my business. Throughout this business journey, I realized that there are a lot of individuals in this world who don't believe in themselves and are in search of support and ways to have a better life. Knowing what I know, I feel like it is my obligation to help those people!

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My role model is my mother – she has been an entrepreneur all her life, and I have never seen another way of earning income than owning your own business. There were so many obstacles in her life journey, but she still always managed to make sure her children had the best life possible.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Fun, purposeful, and positive.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
Be coachable, set goals, create a plan, and most importantly, never give up. Get connected with the person on your upline who is successful and is willing to coach you, and follow their guidelines. I would have never made it where I am right now if it weren't for my Directors, Mr. and Mrs. Hampton. They are the ones who build confidence in me and are helping me to better understand this business. If you have someone who believes in you, you are less likely to fail. Believe in yourself as well and work on your personal development! Don’t let anything stop you!

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I see myself having a huge team of successful women who are living the lives of their dreams. Personally, I see myself as a millionaire living in a brand new house with my family and parents! We are traveling several times a year to the best and most unique places. My kids are going to one of the best schools in the area and my husband is no longer working in the corporate world.
