1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born in Philadelphia, PA. I currently reside in Houston, Texas. I've been married to my husband, Leon, for 36 years. My hobbies are swimming, speaking and studying French. I'm a former educator and a philanthropist. I've also recently started a champagne business which will launch this year.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I've grown in many ways, but one that I would like to mention is I realize that working as a team and working with and developing your team is very important if you want to grow in this business. I've also grown in my own self-development. I realize how important it is to do an evaluation of one's self and to be honest with yourself about things that you need to work on.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
I'm driven by my desire to help people. When I wake up in the morning, I set a goal to try and touch someone's life in some form or fashion, whether it's sharing this amazing opportunity with someone or sharing something that will help them be the best that they can be.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
I always say my mother. She was a woman who stood for something. She had a voice and she used it. She marched on Washington for civil rights in the 60s and taught many people, especially women, to speak up for themselves.
5. The three words that describe me best are:
Honest, Godfearing and Loyal.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Always let your yes mean yes and do what you say that you are going to do.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
In five years, I will be a Six-Star Director in this business and I will continue serving my God and will still be enjoying my wonderful life with my amazing husband and seeing the world.
