1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles in a low income community where I learned discipline, responsibility, and the value of earning everything. My parents worked hard and taught me that character matters more than circumstances.
I am married to my biggest supporter, Steve Torres. Together we have five children and nine grandchildren. We now live in Southern California, just minutes from Laguna Beach, where we recently fulfilled our dream of living near the ocean. We love traveling, photography, family time, and creating meaningful experiences.
At 23, I lost my 21-year-old brother in a tragic accident. His passing gave me a profound responsibility to live fully, travel boldly, and build a life that honors the dreams he never had the chance to pursue.
Before PlanNet Marketing, I built a photography studio from a $100 dollar investment into over $3 million dollars in income across three decades. While we were successful, we traded time for money and missed moments with our children. We were searching for leverage, legacy, and leadership when we found our home at PlanNet Marketing. From the moment I saw this opportunity, I knew our lives were about to change.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
When I joined PlanNet Marketing, I was terrified of public speaking. If you put me in front of ten people, I would physically tremble.
Instead of shrinking back, I chose to lean in. I showed up consistently, volunteered, studied leadership, attended IMV, and learned from incredible mentors including Mr. Donald Bradley. Over time, confidence replaced fear.
Today I lead meetings and present with conviction. PlanNet did not just grow my business, it grew me. I learned that growth begins the moment you step beyond your comfort zone.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
What drives me is watching people realize they are capable of more than they believed.
This opportunity is a vehicle for transformation. I have seen young mothers gain flexibility and confidence. I have seen individuals rediscover their worth and create options for their families.
Helping people build freedom, belief, and possibility in their own lives is what fuels me every day.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My mother and my Nana are my greatest role models. My mom had me at 15 and showed me strength, resilience, and unconditional love. When she told my grandmother she was pregnant, my Nana simply said, “I guess we are having a baby.” And they did, together.
They taught me to dream big and back those dreams with action. I set a goal to become a One-Star Director during my Nana’s lifetime and achieved it just ten days before she passed at 92. She was proud and even offered to be my #100 ITA.
My father was also very impactful to me, he taught me discipline and to give one hundred percent in everything I do. I lost him this past December, but his example of commitment and strength guides me daily.
Together, the three of them instilled in me resilience, work ethic, leadership, belief, and heart.
5. The three words that describe me best are:
Tenacious, Resilient, Compassionate.
I do not quit. I rise through challenges. And I lead with heart.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Believe before you see.
Protect your mindset fiercely. Surround yourself with positive people who stretch your vision. Get clear on your mission and take daily action toward it.
Growth rarely feels comfortable, but comfort rarely builds greatness. Step forward anyway.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I see continued travel, continued growth, and continued impact.
My goal of becoming a Five-Star Director and helping five others do the same remains strong. This journey is not just about my success, but about influencing thousands of lives.
In 5 years I will be 64 years of age, I do not plan on slowing down. I believe, I will be stepping into my most impactful chapter yet.
