The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Lisa Francesca Nand

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
Lisa Francesca Nand, travel journalist and host of a travel podcast. I was born on the Wirral to an English mother and Indian-Fijian father but we moved to Spain when I was 7, so Spain is very much home in many ways. Despite this, I have been living back in the UK since I was 16 and have lived in London a lot and also Brighton where I am now living by the sea. Travel and exploring are in my blood, I am happiest on a long walk to a beautiful location with the people I love.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Joining PlanNet has been a revelation. I initially joined for the travel but realised it was so much more - personal development, mindset, growth, community, network. I think it's the best business in the world and that everyone should do it!

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
I am a single parent to two amazing boys and I am hugely passionate about time-freedom and financial-freedom. As a journalist, I saw pay decreasing and jobs going, and getting divorced gave me the impetus to want more for my children. I am technically earning for two and doing that off my own back without a traditional job! It's not always been easy but it is very motivating.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My parents are my heroes. They have brought my brother (musician Marcus Nand) and I up with a lot of love, support and the courage to dream big and be brave - knowing that we always have their support and backing.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
(According to Chat GPT who now knows me well...) curious, brave and ambitious. My partner called me 'contagiously enthusiastic.'

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
About this business? Become obsessed with it. Stay focused. As Mr Bradley says - it's simple but it's not easy, but treat it like a business and it will pay you more than anything you've ever dreamed of.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five-Star Director - let's dream big! My children and loved ones' happiness and health is of course the most important thing, but being able to live a life of time-freedom and financial freedom gives us the resources we need to support that.
