The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Marcus Murray

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born in Detroit and LaDonna in South Africa. We currently reside in Metro Detroit. We are traditional business owners with lots of employees. Never a dull moment. In our free time, we serve in church leading the marriage ministry, and in the community, we serve in local laundromats battling Hygiene Poverty. We spend time supporting causes that enhance the well-being of the less fortunate. In our downtime, we enjoy travel and getting away to our lake house relaxing.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Since joining the PlanNet, I have been able to increase my focus and intensity toward personal and professional development. Participating in the IMV and business development events around the country has broadened my perspective and vision for Mr Bradley's mission of creating 100 Millionaires. We understand that a well-lived life must include a clear vision beyond one's own well-being. And the Bradleys teach that principle by example.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
We have a strong desire to help people. And for me helping people realize the bondage of the Global Labor-Trap and sharing a success-system that can create undeniable freedom has become a mission. We now carry a vision to galvanize 25,000 individuals who will become ambassadors of hope, helping many who are willing reach their full potential. It will not happen overnight and "it will not happen without the work."

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
After 32 years of marriage, we have realized the burden of being or identifying a single role-model can be overwhelming, unrealistic and disheartening most times because people are mere humans. So we have role models in every category of importance in our lives. Some are famous while others are less known. As a couple, we honor and respect the accomplishments of others and admire the hustle and tenacity required to achieve anything of significance.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Focused, Committed, and Resilient.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
Dream Again!  Most people have stopped dreaming because of a false belief that dreams do not become reality. What LaDonna and I have discovered in 30 years in business is the power of dreaming. A God-given dream stirs desire, desire inspires Goals, Goals provide the framework for planning, and plans make execution effective and effectiveness makes success appear effortless. Taking action leads one to the realization of the goals and commands "the dream" into manifestatation. Whatever you do ...Keep dreaming!

7.  What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, we plan to be Six-Star Directors with PlanNet, enjoying a life filled with the ability to make uncommon choices, changing lives, helping people, and making a more profound impact on the lives of others.
