The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Molly Decker

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in an area called The Portage Lakes, Ohio – about 15 minutes away from Akron. I still live in that area with my husband, Eric, and our six kids: Four boys: Braeden (12), Gabriel (10), Rowan (8), and Shane (2), and our two girls, Brigh (8) and Marielle (4). I live to spend time with my family – whether it’s at their sports practices/games, cookouts, and of course, traveling together. My business has made it so much easier for us to travel as a family, and has given us all a passion for experiencing new places. We homeschool our kids and are able to give them experiences in person that we grew up seeing in textbooks. Being able to do this for our family, and help other families do this as well, have been some of my biggest business highlights!

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Joining PlanNet has opened me up and allowed me to not just dream, but actually believe in those dreams and know they can (and will) happen! I’ve never experienced the support and encouragement that I’ve gotten in my three years with PlanNet – and the growth I’ve seen from others over the years has helped me see the endless possibilities with our business!

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Freedom – that’s my biggest driving force. I want to continue to see and experience life with my kids without having to tell them we can’t because mom has to work. This business has already given us so much freedom, and that’s what continues to drive and motivate me to work toward total time and financial freedom for my family!

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
All of the PlanNet Directors and leaders are amazing role models. We are so lucky to have so many examples of how to succeed in this business.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Determined, Hustler and Compassionate.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
Never stop setting and working toward new goals.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
I’ll still be working hard with my business and helping others achieve their goals. My family and I will have many more adventures and memories together, and will be planning even more to come!
