The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Oksana Shayda

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in Ukraine, and now I live in the United States. I have a Master’s degree in Pharmacy, and was working as a pharmacy technician here in the U.S. At the same time, I’ve always been entrepreneurial and people-oriented, so I was looking for ways to create more freedom and flexibility in my life — not just stability, but true choice. Now I’m building in the travel industry and I’m passionate about helping others create income and a lifestyle on their own terms as well.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I’ve grown a lot in confidence and leadership. I’ve learned how to communicate with different types of people, how to guide instead of convince, and how to stay consistent even when things aren’t perfect. I’ve also developed a stronger mindset — I don’t overthink as much, I take action faster, and I trust the process more.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Freedom — time freedom, financial freedom, and the ability to live life on my terms. Also, my kids. I want to create a life where I’m fully present, not tied to a schedule, and able to give them opportunities I didn’t have. And honestly, seeing other people win because of something I introduced them to — that’s a huge motivation, too.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Honestly, I find inspiration in many people — especially those who started from simple beginnings and still built something extraordinary through consistency and belief. But the biggest impact on me comes from my leaders - Ulyana Wojan and Yana Ponce. They lead by example, not just words. They genuinely invest in people, help them grow, always show up, and never back down when things get challenging. Their resilience, vision, and the way they treat others with respect really stand out to me. At the same time, they’re very open and real — and that combination is exactly why I see them as true role models.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Driven, resilient, and growth-oriented.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
Don’t wait until you feel “ready.” You grow into it. Most people stay stuck because they overthink and delay decisions. If something makes sense to you — take action, adjust along the way, and stay consistent.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
I have a strong, stable business, consistent income, and full flexibility with my time. I’m surrounded by a community of driven people who are eager to grow, change their lives, and create more for themselves.I travel more, spend quality time with my family, and continue helping others build their own income streams and believe in their potential. There’s a real sense of impact — not just in my life, but in the lives of the people around me. My life is peaceful, abundant, and fully on my terms.
