The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Ola Abbas

1. Personal: Where you were born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in Iraq; following the war, I immigrated to Lebanon, then Dubai, and finally settled in Manchester, UK.

I love travelling, I met my husband while on holiday and I'm so glad he turned out to share my passion for travelling. Together we are seeing the world one city at a time.

I started the travel business as the Covid pandemic started and countries were going into lockdown. When people said you can't do this, I said, watch me.

2.How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I'm a personal development and a people development junkie; I always look to better myself and help others elevate to the next level.

This opportunity allowed me to elevate and discover new depths in my mind and soul that are taking me higher and higher.

I came into the business for the money and travels, I stayed for the person I have become.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
I'm driven by the desire to be more, have more and to give more. Showing others how they can be a better version of themselves and grow into their unlimited potential.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My parents have always been strong role models for me, seeing them stand in the face of challenges of living in a country turned upside down by war. Seeing them reinvent themselves and start all over again from the ground up in a new country, always looking out for us and making sure we are happy and healthy ingrained in me that there is always a way to not just survive but to also thrive and help others do the same.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Ambitous, driven, and impactful.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone, what would it be?
Don’t take no for an answer, keep holding your vision and work towards it. You only need one person to believe in you and that one person is YOU.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
I get goosebumps thinking about living out my life vision. Five years from now my life looks full of beautiful people, memories and fulfilment. My goal is to help 10,000 people with this business opportunity and to get as many of them on stage with me receiving their awards and jackets.

I will have ticked off another 50 countries off my travel list; I will be enjoying a blessed, happy life with my husband and have achieved the financial security my family deserves.
