1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and lived there my entire life. I got my first job at just 13 years old, and from then on I’ve always had a strong drive to give everything 110%. I left school at 19, knowing I wanted to work, earn, and build something for myself rather than stay in formal education.
I started my career at the very bottom of the ladder in banking and spent 11 years working relentlessly to progress, eventually becoming a Bank Manager in Belfast — an incredible achievement at just 31 years old. In 2021, I was made redundant, a moment that became a major turning point in my life and career.
Outside of work, travel has always been my greatest passion. Seeing the world is where I find peace, clarity, and inspiration.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Joining PlanNet has completely transformed me, both personally and professionally. After being made redundant in 2021, my confidence was at an all-time low. Friends noticed I struggled to make eye contact, and I felt completely lost after spending over a third of my life working towards something that was taken away overnight.
Since joining PlanNet, I’ve rebuilt my confidence, rediscovered belief in myself, and created something that no one can ever take from me. That sense of ownership and freedom has been truly life-changing.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
What drives me most is helping others succeed and change their own lives. While working in corporate roles, supporting others often felt like part of the job — the company benefited, but very little changed for the individual.
With this business, people are directly rewarded for their hard work, both financially and personally. Watching women regain confidence, gain financial independence, and build lives that align with their priorities is what motivates me every single day.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
In my personal life, my biggest role models are my parents. They have always shown incredible resilience and work ethic, navigating difficult financial times while ensuring my sister and I had the best upbringing possible.
Professionally, my role models were two managers I worked under in banking — both women in a male-dominated industry. They taught me the importance of posture, leadership, and showing up with strength during challenging times. Their belief in me played a huge role in shaping the leader I am today.
5. The three words that describe me best are:
Resilient, Nurturing, and Reinventive.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Your worst days are often the ones that shape you into who you are. You have to have the resilience to fight through them, because if you do, you come out the other side stronger, clearer, and more capable of building the life you truly want.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
In five years, I see a life filled with freedom, impact, and experiences. I want to continue helping more people realise that working at a desk until retirement is not a life well lived. I plan to keep exploring the world and checking destinations off my bucket list.
My biggest dream is to own a holiday home — a dream my parents have had for as long as I can remember. Being able to create that for my family and have a place we can all escape to together would mean everything to me.
