The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Sarah Larsen

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I lived in a small town called Fayette, Alabama for several years and then moved to Gadsden, AL when I was in middle school; I currently reside in Cullman, AL. I have been married to the love of my life, Philip, for almost 12 years in November and together we have three beautiful kids: Carter (9), Ella Grace (7), and Elyse Faith (2). I love to travel, spend time with family, sing, watch Christmas movies year round, and have fun in any way I can! I’ve been with the business for two years (this past March) and became a One-Star Director with the company on that two-year mark! I’m working hard on Two-Star and am over halfway there! 

2.​ How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
When I first started this business, I never imagined I would be where I am now. I’m a very outgoing person, but I never thought I could “run a big team” and hated public speaking/teaching a big crowd. It just sent me into a panic any time I thought about speaking in front of a lot of people. Now here I am running our team weekly meetings/check ins, spoke in front of over 1000 people once I hit One-Star, and am helping my team of over 180 grow! It’s funny how God works and takes away all those fears and “I can’ts.”

3​. What drives you​;​ what motivates you?
I would definitely have to say that my drive is my family! I want to provide a life for them where they’ll never have to hurt for anything financially. I want to be able to help contribute in any way financially that I can and take the pressure off my husband who works so hard. 

4. Who would you consider​ a​ role model and why?
You know, I have so many people whom I look up to. So many people that I think “I want to be there one day.” I look up to my Sponsor, Lindsey Tidmore. She’s a hard worker and has taught me everything I know!! And I also look up to my Three-Star Director Angelica. She pushes and motivates me even when I don't feel like I can do it. But I have to say that God is who I want to please and who I look up to the most. I wouldn’t be where I am today without His amazing Grace and guidance. He has sent me the right people in this business and made me into someone I never imagined becoming. 

5. The three words that describe me​ best​ are​:  
The three words that describe me best are Outgoing, Fun, and Spunky. 

6​.​ If you had​ some sound advice to give​ to anyone​ what would​‌ ​it be? 
Always follow your dreams and don’t let anyone tell you not to. Life gets in the way, emotions get in the way, it just gets downright hard sometimes - but in the end it’s WORTH IT!

7. What does your life look like five years from now? 
Five years from now I want to be in the top 10 income earners, traveling with my family, and sharing this amazing opportunity with anyone and everyone.
