The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Shahiem Grant

1.‌ ‌Where‌ ‌were‌ ‌you‌ ‌born‌ ‌and‌ ‌raised;‌ ‌current‌ ‌city;‌ ‌family;‌ ‌hobbies;‌ ‌past‌ ‌business‌ ‌highlights.‌ ‌
I was born and raised in Queens, NYC, currently residing in Baton Rouge, LA. I'm a husband, a father and a first time entrepreneur all because of this amazing opportunity.

2.‌ ‌How‌ ‌have‌ ‌you‌ ‌grown‌ ‌or‌ ‌personally‌ ‌developed‌ ‌since‌ ‌joining‌ ‌PlanNet?‌ ‌
Being part of PlanNet Marketing has allowed me to “bury” the old thinking of being “an introvert.” This opportunity has allowed me to find my voice, become more confident with speaking and most of all, it has allowed me to connect more with people.

3.‌ ‌What‌ ‌drives‌ ‌you;‌ ‌what‌ ‌motivates‌ ‌you?‌
My motivation is simply, “I deserve and have a burning desire to have more.” Coming from a single parent household, things were always tight. I vowed that the day I became a parent to never put a limit on what I can offer my children and this opportunity has made that possible.

4.‌ ‌Who‌ ‌would‌ ‌you‌ ‌consider‌ ‌a‌ ‌role‌ ‌model‌ ‌and‌ ‌why?‌ ‌
WOW, great question. Plenty of great alpha males within this opportunity to choose from. It’s a toss up between Six-Star, Founding Director, Mr. Orlanda Moore and Three-Star Director Greg Scott. Both are in my upline and I connect with both beyond business. Mr. Moore because of his service to the country (as I have served in the US ARMY) and Mr. Scott because of his service to his community in law enforcement (I also served in law enforcement for 12 years). Those two men named, are top notch.

5.‌ ‌The‌ ‌three‌ ‌words‌ ‌that‌ ‌describe‌ ‌me‌ ‌best‌ ‌are:‌ ‌
Fearless, Determined, Loyal.

6.‌  ‌If‌ ‌you‌ ‌had‌ ‌some‌ ‌sound‌ ‌advice‌ ‌to‌ ‌give‌ ‌to‌ ‌anyone‌ ‌what‌ ‌would‌ ‌it‌ ‌be?‌ ‌
My advice would be to swing for the fences. Playing small will keep you comfortable, content and honestly, with a broke mindset. When your eyes open each morning, play as if it’s the 4th quarter and you only have 2 minutes on the clock to score the winning touchdown. Having that edge will allow you to press forward each day.

7.‌ ‌What ‌does‌ ‌your‌ ‌life‌ ‌look‌ ‌like‌ ‌five‌ ‌years‌ ‌from‌ ‌now?‌
Five years from now:; newer home, bigger bank account, financial stability and traveling the world with my business partners.
