The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Three-Star Director Charlotte Ryder

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born in Ashford in Surrey but currently live just outside Hampshire with my husband and two beautiful girls. A hobby of mine is interior design, I even started a blog about it to help people create beautiful homes on a budget. I get asked all the time to make decor room design boards for people which makes me smile so much. My top business highlights would have to be meeting Mr. Donald Bradley at our recent London event, it was just so utterly incredible! Also on one of our global Zoom Locker Room calls back in 2020 I was chosen to share my story! I stayed up until 1.30 am to talk on the call but it was so worth it. Hitting Directorship was just life changing for me, but seeing four incredible women in my team who I have the pleasure of coaching go on to do the exact same was a massive highlight of mine.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Oh my goodness, so so much! I’ve spent so much time in my mindset and working on becoming resilient in business and it has helped me a lot in my personal life too.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My reason why is my biggest motivator. I am doing this for my two girls so they can see what is available to them if they put their mind to something, develop the skills and stay consistent. My Dad is one of my biggest inspirations, I saw him work so hard when I was growing up to give us the best life and I want my children to look up to me as their inspiration, too. I know that if they see me striving to reach my full potential doing something I absolutely adore, they will strive to do the same.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My Dad is my role model, he has always shown us that you have to work hard for everything you want in life. I have been so blessed to have so many incredible mentors throughout my career too and the one thing I’ve always taken away is that you get out what you put in to life. So that’s what I always do, I’m over here pouring in with so much gratitude for what I already have whilst working towards my next goals.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Loyal, passionate and full of gratitude.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
The only way you fail is if you quit, so learn the skill, fall head over heels in love with the process and don’t stop until you’ve proved your biggest doubters wrong!

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Gosh, I’d be over the moon if it still looks as in abundance as it does right now! It would be full of adventures, holidays, health, the happiest memories and so much love. x
