"PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Carissa Bernardo to the 20/20 Club! Carissa tells us, "I was born and raised in the Philippines and now live in Conroe, Texas, with my wife and our fur-baby. I am a U.S.-based non-practicing OB-GYN with years of experience practicing my profession in the Philippines, where I continue to provide online consultations for my friends and family. I also spent almost a decade practicing as an OB-GYN in Oman. Looking back, I believe my residency training in provincial hospitals and my years working abroad were what truly sparked my passion for travel. These experiences allowed me to immerse myself in different communities, connect with people from diverse cultures, experience their way of life, and appreciate the lessons we can learn from one another.
"Travel has always been one of my greatest passions. Whether I’m travelling with my wife and our dog or with my sister, we love walking through 'Main Streets,' exploring museums, discovering hole–in-the-wall restaurants, and trying local delicacies. At home, you’ll usually find us watching action movies or binge-watching comedy series and stand-up comedy.
"Fun facts about me:
I can eat 4 lbs of crawfish in one sitting!
I’m a huge NBA fan – I cheer for the Houston Rockets, but my basketball heart belongs to Nikola Jokic.
And yes, I am your typical Sagittarius!
"I also used to believe that nothing could replace physical books until PlanNet Marketing introduced me to audiobooks. In less than a year, I built a library of nine books on Audible, and I’ve listened to each of them at least twice. Personal development has now become part of my daily routine.
"One of the greatest gifts PlanNet Marketing has given me is confidence. I was once a very shy introvert, but through consistent training, personal development, and taking action, I’ve become much more comfortable connecting with people and sharing opportunities.
"My advice is simple: Plug in, stay coachable, stay consistent, invest in yourself, and do not be afraid to step outside your comfort zone.
"I truly believe my mission is to help others realize that they can enjoy what they do while creating another source of income. When you genuinely love what you’re doing, success becomes much more meaningful, fulfilling, and rewarding."
